* search engine optimisation:- there are people looking for desicrunch type website & desicrunch is looking for those people. Search engines are the saviours.
* organic growth:- if u blog, u run a yahoogroup/forum, u have mailing list pls. talk abt us.

what are we upto
* 35+ reviews
* google for keyowrds "desi consulting", "desi consulting companies", "reviews of desi companies" and desicrunch.com is on first page

coming up
* mashup informations with google map api. This will be a page showing google map, and u can find things on it. things which consultants often need to find.
* we at desicrunch team are fun loving people, soon we will have funny videos(animated) on consulting world's whim & fancy. have already started taking help of some animation expert.

did u face problem in signup & login on desicrunch ?

ramesh, developer, desicrunch team

ramesh has writen all that c# code with mysql, so that everyone can write review on desicrunch.
he already has a big list of interesting new features to be implemented inside website and he is going to have lot of challenges.

regd. login & signup, well, ....actually remaining team messed up with ramesh by telling him to use cookies & then later asking him to do away with it. For almost 10 days we where talking about how to login inside a website.

we are working step by step to make desicrunch a [must visit portal] for all consultants in usa.

picture is worth 1000 words...ah well!!!!

not in case of search engine optimisation. If you want more people to find your website on search engines you have to keep more key words for webbot(search engine crawlers) to crawl and index ur pages/content.

If you keep picture, its just not scrolled by webbot. So instead 1000 key words can get you on google first page faster than some picture.

Graph shows desicrunch is growing(we are getting almost 1000 hits everyday), but its still not a great jump.. Desicrunch is fine with it. We do not want to keep posting our link at 100 irrelevant locations and bring users who have got nothing to do with consulting world.

We want to add more value to site, keep it unbiased and honest. And thats how bring more visitors to have a glance at it.

New things at desicrunch.com
Just launched Article section. After we have several articles we plan to make it into wiki base. Wiki, cos we want people to edit and add more info on fly. No login no nothing...Just quick edit & leave your point.

If anyone of you have suggestions or want to write article(with ur name credit or without) are requested to drop a mail to info (at) desicrunch (.) com

UNFORTUNATELY Login is still not resolved. But we are close to it. Almost 15 - 20 people have sent a mail complaining abt Login. I realise how big loss it is for whole website. But we are very close and we will be fine soon. I apologise 3rd time to all those who had annoying experience while trying to log-in

we have reviews coming in. most of the reviews are from people we know directly or indirectly.
team thanks them for sparing time and writing imp. information.


So far we have been able to get max 60 unique vistors per day. Thats not a big figure, but we are happy that most of these vistors where relevent audience. (They where directly or indirectly connected to desi companies.)











Secondly, google if you search for terms like
"desi consulting"
"desi consulting company"
"reviews consulting company"
"desi company"

digg - link talking abt DesiCrunch, is coming in top 10 results.


Whats next
we are planning to keep articles on our website and eventually make wiki base out of it. this article cud be related to any aspect of consulting people. (interviews, switch, gc, relocation, h1, h4, weekends bash) We are looking for people to write for desicrunch.com, your credits will be mentioned on the page for sure.
